Mr. Rilwanu Belo-Osagie is a seasoned finance professional and one of the founding members of FSDH Merchant Bank. He served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to 2017, playing a pivotal role in shaping the institution into one of Nigeria’s leading financial services providers.
Prior to joining FSDH, he held key managerial positions at African International Bank Limited and Chartered Bank of Nigeria Limited, where he gained valuable experience across banking operations and corporate finance. His leadership and industry insight earned him the distinction of serving multiple terms as Chairman of the Nigerian Discount Market Association during his tenure at FSDH.
Mr. Belo-Osagie is a distinguished alumnus of Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, and Strathclyde University, Glasgow. He also holds an MBA from the prestigious London Business School and completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School, further solidifying his global perspective and leadership acumen.
