Mrs. Nnennaya Umeh is a highly experienced capital markets professional with over 18 years of cross-functional expertise spanning accounting, banking, securities trading, and investment management. Her career reflects a deep commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering value in Nigeria’s financial markets.
She began her professional journey with IMB International Bank and FirstInland Bank Plc, gaining foundational experience in financial operations before joining FSDH Securities (now FSDH Capital) in 2008. Over the past 15 years, she has played a key role in shaping the firm’s capital market operations, contributing to a wide range of transactions involving stockbroking, trade execution, portfolio management, equity and debt capital raising, and securities listings.
Since 2016, Mrs. Umeh has served as the Head of Securities Trading at FSDH Capital, where she leads the firm’s trading operations and drives strategic growth across both the equity and fixed income markets. Her leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s position as a trusted partner for institutional and retail investors.
She holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and an M.Sc. in Corporate Finance from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. She also earned a Portfolio Management Professional Certification from the New York Institute of Finance.
Mrs. Umeh is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), a testament to her professional standing and dedication to continuous learning.
